Girls Soccer Teams July 18th Fundraiser   I am a member of a team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it,   because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion.   Mia Hamm Stay tuned for information about the first annual E.L.S.A. Summer Soccer Tournament to be held on either the weekend of August 15th or August 22nd 2009. ELSA will again host a golf tournament this fall. Monday September 28th at the Hampden Country Club. The festivities will begin with a lunch from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a scramble start. A steak dinner will be provided after play is complete. The cost will be $100 per player, and Tee and/or green sponsorships are also available for $100 each. A large screen TV will be raffled off along with many other prizes.   A classic story: A mother was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her teenage son. Suddenly the boy bursts into the kitchen. "Careful! Careful! Put in some more butter! Oh my goodness! You're cooking too many at once. TOO MANY! Turn them! TURN THEM NOW! We need more butter. Oh my! WHERE are we going to get MORE BUTTER? They're going to STICK!  Careful!... CAREFUL!   I said CAREFUL! You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you crazy? Have you lost your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the salt. USE THE SALT! THE SALT!" The mother stared at him. "What's wrong with you? You think I don't now how to fry a couple of eggs?" The son calmly replied, "I just wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm trying to play soccer."
